About (Biography)

Paul Cook is a graduate of  Eastern Illinois University, where he played tennis and lacrosse. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two beautiful young girls named Quinn and Ryan.

Ten years ago Paul Cook made it his personal goal to simply make as many people as possible feel great about being alive. Through his struggles Paul learned that, "True success and significance comes from feeling right about yourself." Since then Paul Cook has carried that message as an award winning radio personality, TV reporter and host and now as the author of the memoir, Cooked in LA.

Paul took his contagious charisma to the radio 15 years ago and then to television a few years later. Traveling all over the country to deliver his high energy brand of radio, Cook is the only personality to twice win the honor of St. Louis's Best Music Format Personality

In his startling and funny memoir Paul takes the reader on a three year journey through his battle with alcoholism. Derek Armstrong, the author of MADicineDrew Peterson Exposed & The GAME says that "Paul Cook's shocking and inspiring memoir is funny, brutally honest and insightful. A must-read for anyone dealing with substance abuse."

Paul frequently speaks to recovery groups as a board member of Supporting Teens At Risk. Paul believes that changing the drinking and drugging culture in our schools is the only way to tackle the problem that is claiming so many great minds from our generation today.

In February of 2010, Paul started doing the "Hot Buttered Hollywood Nugget" on KPLR-11 TV.
